CURRENT STATE OF SAFETY

Businesses realize that safety is a key component in todays market and must be managed like any other business operation. If you lose focus on safety, the result can be dramatic.

Clients and General Contractors are requiring more stringent safety management systems on their projects. An example is Harvard University and their Contractor Safety Assessment Program (CSAP). Well beyond the minimum OSHA requirements.

To remain competitive in the industry a company must have an effective safety and health program.
Keeping incidents and claims down, will keep insurance costs down, thereby giving the company an advantage over their competition.

If your business can not support a full-time Safety Director, then you may benefit from using a consultant for your safety services. BCSS offers you a part-time Safety Professional with the experience and knowledge that you need.

Boyle is a member of local and national safety associations, including the  following:

• Chairman of the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts Safety Committee
• National Safety Council-Construction Division
• The American Society of Safety Engineers
• Steering Committee Member of the Construction Safety Roundtable of Eastern Mass
• Member of BuildSafe New England
• Past Chairman of the AGC of Massachusetts-Safety Committee.
